BSB51915

This qualification prepares students for leadership and management roles in variety of business contexts. The course aims to help students to develop their communication skills and gain knowledge in managing teams, work relationships as well as workplace learning. It will also help students develop to use their initiative and judgement in planning, organising , implementing and monitoring own workload as well as the workload of others. Possible job roles include departmental manager, Business unit manager and team leader.

Course Duration
  • 4 Terms
  • 52 weeks (including holidays )
  • 40 contact weeks
  • 4 terms x 10 weeks x 20 hours = 800 class hours
Mode of Delivery
  • Classroom based delivery (face-to-face).
  • Attend 20 hours per week face-to-face full-time study.
  • Face-to-face delivery includes lecture, group activities, and pair work and class presentations
Assessment
  • Combination of assessment tasks such as case studies, group tasks , written tasks, presentations and practical assessments.
  • Assessments for qualifications are competency based.
Entry requirements
  • Minimum age of entry is 18yrs old.

Academic Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in a related field

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS 5.5 or higher with a minimum score of 5.0 in each band OR equivalent OR
  • Successful completion of General English (Upper Intermediate Level) at BIC English or at other approved providers.
